Definitive, life changing healing only happens in community. Highly effective results are found here.
You cannot lead yourself out of the mess, nor should you. The law of the land is simple: we are isolated and vulnerable when alone, yet when together we are protected and protector. Groups will provide you with the absolute best chance for finding healing, and for staying healed.
Choose a group you feel connected to, whether because of location, schedule or interest. Then meet up and let time do its magic.
For more information, email the group leader, and he or she will contact you shortly thereafter with more details about time and locations.
Church members who have participated in groups report an overall better sense of connection, purpose and belonging.
Groups are for those who are looking for a deeper and richer connection with God, and for those wanting to meet some fun people along the way.
This is work. You will do your part. Journeying through a biblical, custom designed curriculum, you will unlock the mystery of why you are addicted, why you struggle to quit, and what a life without porn looks like. This will not be easy, and you will be asked difficult questions. You will be challenged. You will get angry. You will have others get angry with you, as you and your group members begin to challenge and push each other towards a common goal…freedom.

This is the work we do. We go back to go forward. As we face the roots of our wounds with courage and conviction, we discover the path ahead has directional signposts, where men have gone before us to help navigate the trail. A story turns into a testimony, a testimony turns into a legacy, and a legacy blazes a trail that shows the people in your life the potential of a new creation in God.

Porn and sexual immorality are mostly experienced alone. Hidden and isolated, you are easily picked off by the enemy. With no good voices around, you are wide open to the voice of the enemy, and that enemy is intently focused on your destruction. You will learn to live in community, or you will suffer alone. You were made to be part of a whole, to contribute, to give and receive. You have value and the world needs your participation, it needs the gift that is you.

Part confessional community, part recovery, part freedom training – designed to be a shared space, a roundtable, where each person is heard, challenged, cared for, respected and most of all, safe to live again. It’s where we shed the shame and engage a life with men who walk with us. Most of all, we learn to grow in relationship with a Father who loves us.

You will be instructed and encouraged to begin applying concepts into your daily life. Discipline, time with God, time set aside for Bible study and verse memorization, etc… These are not just rules or boxes to check, but tools and weapons that will begin to set you apart from the world and will also equip you to fight back at a culture that is more and more encroaching with each passing year.

Slip up during the semester (yes, this will possibly happen), and you will have to inform your group members. And they will be given the opportunity to speak into your life about it. The group will hold each member to a certain standard; will it be the same for everyone? No. However, the group leaders will ensure that each member is held to an appropriate standard for their specific situation. You will also be asked to acquire and install software that will assist with keeping you accountable in your use of technology, with the group being each other’s accountability partners.

Evidence is presented in court. It’s something necessary for protection and defense, for clarifying and containment. It frees you from the “maybe” and “probably” to the definitive “yes” and “no” needed for recovery. When you struggle, write about it. Successful? Celebrate it. Journaling keeps the enemy in check by helping you to see your growth. Journaling is a chronicle of the ground you’ve taken back from the enemy, the path that is behind you. Journaling is a rest for the soul at a campfire, a preparation for the next leg of the journey.

Now it’s time to take what you’re learning and apply this in family, work, life groups, and church you attend. Live out freedom by applying the goodness of the community you are experiencing. Each week we work more toward integration, a little further into the legacy we wish to create.
